The DimCheck Widget
The DimCheck Widget provides annotated dimensions for visible objects in a drawing. Use it to check your work for errors in data input. Compare dimensions to onsite measurements. Dimensions change as objects are edited. Add associative dimensions where needed. The widget updates the drawing at each redraw.
Lines, circles, arcs, simbols and widgets not contained inside symbols or groups will be annotated. Only objects on the layer the widget was placed on will be queried. Referenced objects are not supported but may be at a future time.
Annotation text is 1/10" in size (Paper space) and drawn using the same color as the object dimensioned. Rescaling the widget will resize displayed text. Text will only display when the layer containing the widget is visible. Turn off the layer and the widget will not show. It will not transfer via DXF or DWG. It can easily be removed by deleting it.
Once placed in a drawing file the widget text can be printed.
Supports all Cadvance Versions 2000-2005.
