Signatures

Overview

Petition pages are managed using the Page Edit form. Petition pages when submitted are ready for data entry.

Signature information is documented using the Signature Edit Form. Signatures can be added without any voter information. Signatures can be added after locating a registered voter.

Creating a new signature

Generally a signature is added by looking up a voter using the Find Voter form. Once found the selected voter is added to the petition by clicking the [add to petition] link on the Find Voter form

Required information

All signatures must have the following data entered:

Select the signature objection codes that are applicable.

Adding a signature that has no voter information attached

Begin by clicking on the [add signature] link on the top of the page will clear the form and prepare it dfor data entry.

Editing a signature

Begin by selecting the page from the Volume Pages list on the Page Edit Form found on the main menu screen. Select the signature to be edited by selecting the line number to be edited. Once the signature has been selected editing of data is now possible.

Saving entered data

Clicking on the Add/Update button on the bottom of the page will save the information entered.

Deleting a signature

In order to delete a signature from a page, first select the signature to be removed by clicking on its line number in the list. Once the selected signature is displayed in the form click on the Delete button to remove the signature from the list.
